It has been a solid 3 years since I wrote in my blog! I happened upon it just today at 2:10 am. Me and my best friend Jennybabe had a chick flick night and I just wasn't tired when she left so I GOOGLED myself! hahaha! This is when I found "you", Blog! lol So here I am just putting in a tiny entry!
Let's see...what's happened since then? What most people achieve in a LIFETIME! hahaha, this is no understatement! My son is three now, I have been married almost 6 years, I have owned and and ran my own business, retired, pursued and had much success with my personal music career ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azjNnGKegCQ ), currently reside on a farm with the whole fam, I have loved and lost many friends but kept the important ones! The church I grew up in had a "split" - I can't even begin to express how disgusted I am with the betrayal that was done to my pastor and my church. I love chocolate now. I have a nose ring. I have put my hair in hundreds of braids, corn rows, straightened it, weaves, SHAVED it all completely OFF, went back to braids (as a means to have long hair again while I went through the awkward stage), and now have a hair half way down my neck that curls into tiny angelic ringletts all over the top of my head. Can't wait to grow back my ridiculously gorgeous greek curls all the way down to my butt again! I guess I had to lose it all to really appreciate what God blessed me with! My pitbull Nika is currently 12 years old and I have a young dog, Mr Bungle (half boxer/half chocolate lab) who drives me NUTS every single day he breathes and yet I love him. My son has a firebelly toad (which is actually a frog) and I'm rather in love with this little creature! There are 3 alpaca's on the farm. We all got to witness a baby be born. Coyotes have since eaten baby Cooda, our sweet Cria, before she was even 2 months old. We (especially me) mourned her death - it was not easy. I sometimes have a greek freak out but as a whole I am a lot calmer than I used to be! I write and sing music all the time. I have been the "frontman" in several bands, competed in several competitions (and won quite a few!), I am currently on a new project (a duo act with my ever talented husband). My mother and Jennybabe are still my best friends. My girlfriend Ross and my sister Sarah are also right up there! I wouldn't be able to live without them. My sister and I draw closer constantly(we met when I was 17). I really feel we are SISTERS, not just by blood but through experiences, laughter, fights, and just plain moronic moments! hahaha I am 29 but I feel 19. I love to laugh and laugh I do! I love to dance and still go from time to time! I don't do Karaoke often but wish I did! I maybe go every couple months. The thing I love most about going out for Karaoke - is not the singing, believe it or not - it's the people you meet! Whether they be talented, awesome, hilarious, or horrible at singing? - no matter - they are all there for the same reason! To have fun with music and I have met some of my CLOSEST friends at karaoke bars! What an enriching group of people!
But THE most important thing to know about me is this: Jack Edward Hart My son. He is my everything and everything I do (even the selfish things) is for HIM! I am a stay at home Mom and enjoy every second with him!!! Thank you God for blessing me with this life. I am so unworthy.
